During my decades of experience I have seen the UK industry grow from three terrestrial channels to the multiplatform digital world we have today.
From feature films to single camera video production I have been involved with the advances in technology and techniques that have brought production to this current point.
My interest in making a contribution to the industry is as strong as ever.
Familiar with all studio disciplines including; Vision Control, Sound, Lighting, Routers, following Studio Schematics.
Maintaining studio output, quality control, remote ISDN circuits etc.
Experienced in Fibre circuit install and coordinatiion including head end hardware.
Knowledge of Satellite bookings and coordination
Used to working within and organising a team situation.
Formed and managed the above for twenty years to provide a full service to anyone shooting Green/Blue screen.
Providing everything from a single pot of paint to fully brokered productions including Ultimatte electronics.
All types of production were covered ; Feature Films, Music Promos, Corporates,Commercials and Broadcasting.
Closed the company in 2000 to allow more time for training and consultancy work.
I have been involved with Ultimatte since the first unit was brought into the UK for use on The Muppets Shows.
I have both owned and operated all the Ultimatte models from the 4, through to the current digital 4K models.
I have maintained my enthusiasm for Ultimatte/Greenscreen production and the creativity it allows. The full potential of Virtual Studio is still untapped, so I continue to make a contribution.

My first contact with Virtual was in the mid 90s when the computers were the size of fridges and pixel rates were measured in 100s. A lot of my production involvement was with drama and light entertainment rather than the current focus on news and sport. I have kept up to date with all the current developments both 3D and 2D.
One of my current roles is as a worldwide consultant to users and adopters of Virtual.
